Willamae A. Bert, 77, East Moline, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Visitation is 2-5PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Funeral service are 11 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Perryville, MO, with additional visitation from 10 AM until service time at the church. Burial is in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Lithium, MO. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Willamae was born November 15, 1934 in St. Mary's MO, the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Bach) Ochs. She married Stanley Bert on September 5, 1953 in Perryville. He died May 4, 1994. Willamae retired in 1999 as a Pharmacy Tech from the former Illini Hospital in Silvis. In recent years Willamae found great joy in traveling. She enjoyed getting new stamps on her passport throughout the world. Survivors include her daughter Kathleen Bert-Howard, and siblings, Edgar "Sonny" Och, Lithium, MO, Jean Moll, Myrtle Duvall, Rudolph Ochs and Richard Ochs, all of Perryville. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Calvin and Paul.
