William "Bill" Graves, 96, Silvis, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Private committal will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK. Bill was born January 27, 1915 in Rocky Ford, CO, the son of Arthur and Gay (Vance) Graves. He married Pauline Manning, who preceded him in death on August 2, 2003. He retired from the US Navy. He had also worked for the US Post Office and drove the train at Disneyland in California when it first opened. Survivors include a daughter-in-law Peggy Barbaree, East Moline, granddaughters; Michelle, Susan and Lori, seven great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and a brother Bob of Tallahassee, FL. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his step-son Robert Barbaree.
