Memorial services for William H. "Bill" Mountain, 70, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mr. Mountain died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Kidney Center or the American Heart Association. Bill was born December 27, 1942 in Moline the son of Arba and Elsie Bales Mountain. He married Shirley Eckert October 2, 1965 in Rock Island, IL. He had been a driver for construction companies over the years. He last worked for McCarthy Improvement , Davenport, IA. He had been a member of the Teamsters Local 371, Milan, IL. He enjoyed playing cards, motorcycles, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mountain, East Moline; sister, Mary Hull, FL; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Janet Beyers and Donna Reber-Blake, and brother, Kent Mountain. The family would like to thank Rosewood Care Center for their excellent care.
