Committal services for William Stern, 93, of Chicago, formerly of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Mausoleum at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Mr. Stern died November 12, 2008 in Elgin, IL. Bill was born February 8, 1915 in Chicago, IL, the son of Albert and Eva (Mohr) Stern. He married Emmeline Kilgore December 18, 1937 in Chicago, IL. He retired from International Harvester, in 1978, after 45 years of service. Among survivors are his wife, Emmeline Stern; nieces, Betty (Donald) Merideth, Judy (Terry) Kyner, and Nancy (Donald) Davis.
