William W. "Billy" Willemarck, 55, East Moline, died Sunday, January 20, 2012 at Genesis West, Davenport. Visitation is 3-7PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Private burial will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Billy was born October 9, 1957 in Moline, the son of George and Lois Willemarck. As a young man Billy enjoyed playing baseball, softball and shooting hoops with his friends. He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan and Die Hard Cub Fan. He also enjoyed playing the ponies, fishing, playing jokes and just having fun. Billy had worked for the Maintenance Department for the city of East Moline and tended bar at the Palace and Leisure Time. Survivors include his father George Willemarck, East Moline, sisters Pamela (Joseph) Reedy, East Moline, Joellen (Brent) Ewers, Kennesaw, GA, brothers Bruce Willemarck, East Moline and Donald Rogers, Rock Island,; nephew Rich Nelson, St. Louis, MO, and nieces, Shelli Willemarck, Champaign and Joella (Steve) Jones, Moline. He was preceded in death by his mother Lois (Willemarck) Rogers, stepmother, Kathy L. Willemarck, grandparents Fleeta and James Barger and Martha and Peter Willemarck, and nephew Justin Reedy.
