Funeral services for William "Wayne" Willson, 78, Silvis, are 1PM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Graveside services are 1PM Tuesday at Liberty Cemetery, Brownstown, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Mr. Willson died Friday, March 30, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. He was born November 7, 1928 in Pacific, MO, the son of Ira and Cynthia (Estes) Willson. He married Ruth McElroy in 1948 and together they had two children. He later married Marge Fitch. She preceded him in death. Wayne had worked at Luxury Cleaning Service, East Moline for many years. Survivors include a daughter Etta Faye Moore, Carlin, NV, ten grandchildren and 5 grandchildren, sisters(brothers-in-law) Eileen (Irvin) Neathery, Greenville, IL, Normalee (Gene) Terry, Brownstown, and Betty Stombaugh, Silvis nieces; Brenda Motsinger, Colona, IL, Cassandra Crawford, Silvis, and Patricia Gribbins, Clinton, IL, nephews Frank Terry Jr., Salem, IL and Brian Stombaugh, East Moline, and several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Kenneth Wayne Willson.
