Funeral services for William T. Van Zuiden, 71, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Van Zuiden died Friday, December 12, 2008 at River Park Health Care Center, Rock Island. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Bill was born September 29, 1937 in Green Rock, IL, the son of Everett and Virginia (May) Van Zuiden. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Diane Van Wassenhove December 26, 1958 in East Moline. She died January 13, 1999. He retired from East Moline Metal, where he had been a tool crib attendant. Survivors include: daughters, Tammy Talbot of Davenport, IA, Tina Bowers of IA ; sons and daughter-in-law, Tom and Terrie Van Zuiden of East Moline, Tracy Van Zuiden of FL, Travis Van Zuiden of FL; sister, Shirley Paxton of Clinton, IA; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Valerie Van Zuiden of Bloomington, IL.
