Funeral services for Wiltrudis M. "Trudie" Hoffman, 93, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. Mrs. Hoffman died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the St. Anne Catholic Church for the Stained Glass Window Restoration. Wiltrudis Unterreiner was born September 16, 1918 in Perryville, MO, the 12th of 13 children born to Henry and Mary Schrempp Unterreiner. She married Henry L. Hoffman October 21, 1939 in Perryville. He died December 6, 2000. After her husband's death, Trudie moved to Park Vista Senior Living where she developed many special relationships with staff and residents. Due to health reasons, she has lived at Heartland Health Care for the past year. Trudie was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church where she served for many years on the former Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed reading, bird watching and spending time with her family. Trudie will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her wonderful cooking and cherished family recipes and her devotion to her family. Survivors include her children, Gary (Nancy) Hoffman, Inverness, IL and Carolyn Fye, Altoona, PA; grandchildren, Tracy (Tom) DeClerck, Kyle (Jayne) Woeber, Todd (Heidi) Woeber, Darren (Theresa) Woeber, Brett (Michelle) Fye, and Brandon Fye (Ryan Svatora); 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; sister, Erline Hoffman, Moline, IL; former daughter-in-law, Wanda Hoffman, Moline and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Wiltrudis "Willy" Woeber, grandson, Jeffrey Hoffman, son-in-law, Joe Fye, 11 brothers and sisters.
