Funeral services for Yvette Rogers, 79, East Moline, will be 1:30 PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be to QC Animal Welfare, Milan or Animal Aid, Moline. Yvette died Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Yvette Daley was born February 12, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI. She married William A. "Bud" Rogers in 1947. He died in 1998. She had a love for animals and was a longtime volunteer at the former Rock Island County Humane Society, Milan. She was a member of the former Moline Gospel Temple. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Rocky and Sheryl Rogers, East Moline and Randy and Darcy Rogers, East Moline, grandchildren; Jasen(Jane) Rogers, Angela Rodriguez, and Cole Rogers; great grandchildren, Natalie and Jackson; two nieces and a nephew.
