Obituary


Bonnie K. Engels, 85, of Moline, died Wednesday, 27 July, 2022 at Hope Creek Care Center. A memorial visitation will take place on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 12-1PM at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Inc. A graveside service will immediately follow at Moline Memorial Park.

Bonnie was born August 18, 1937, in Rock Island, the daughter of George and Ethel (Summers) Danneels. She married Joe Engels on August 9, 1965 in East Moline. She was a homemaker throughout her life, and she enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, and making ceramics.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Rick Danneels, Colona, IL; and her sister-in-law, Karen Pouder, East Moline, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe, brother, Frank Pouder, and sister, Mary Lou Von Motz. Online memorials may be made by visiting www.vanhoe.com.
