Clement "Junior" Gosa

Clement J. “Junior” Gosa, 89, of Colona, IL, passed away Sunday April 23, 2023, at his son Russell’s home in East Moline, IL.

Private family services will be at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Clement was born March 15, 1934, in Beaverton, Alabama, one of seven children born to Ottie “PA” and Minnie “MA” Guyton Gosa. He married Colette A. Jones on February 25, 1956, in Moline. She preceded him in death on January 16, 2021.

He was employed at John Deere, Foundry Works for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are his sons, Duane (Nancy) Gosa, Colona, IL, and Russell Gosa (fianceé, Ester Pratt), East Moline; grandchildren, Chad, Quentin and Shelby; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Clement was preceded in death by his wife, Collette; daughter-in-law, Brenda Gosa; grandchildren, Brandon Gosa and Duane Scott “Scotty” Gosa; and six siblings.
