Funeral services for Lanny L "Pork" Green, 67, Silvis, are 10 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 5-8PM Monday (today) at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Green died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Trinity Terrace Park, Bettendorf. Lanny was born May 12, 1939 in Montivedio, Minnesota, the son of Delbert and Helen (Granell) Green. He married Judith Smith, January 25, 1958 in East Moline. Judy died January 8, 2000. Pork retired in 1995 from the City of East Moline as Assistant Superintendent of Water Distribution. He was a Detroit Lions Fan, a Dale Earnhardt NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with friends. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law; Gary, Moline, Curt, East Moline and Jeff and Renae, East Moline, grandsons Chris and Chad, his mother Helen Green, Florida and brothers Gary "Skid", Tampa, FL, Pat, Phoenix, AZ and Mike, Naples, FL.
