Funeral services for Raymond G. Culley, 84, of Silvis, IL, will be 10 am Monday at Faith Walk World Outreach Center, Silvis. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 3-5 pm Sunday at the church. Mr. Culley passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at his home. Ray was born September 3, 1938, in Hampton, IL, the son of Fred G. and Odetta F. (Hibbs) Culley. He served in the U.S. Navy. He married Nadine S. Snyder September 27, 1959, at the First Methodist Church, East Moline.She passed away September 15, 2019. Ray had been a photographer for over 30 years for the Rock Island Arsenal. He was a founding member of Faith Walk World Outreach Center, where he volunteered in every capacity. He taught Children's Ministry for 35 years. He started and worked the Tuesday free meals program “Spirit, Soul & Body Outreach” for 17 years. Most recently he was a coordinator of The Oasis, East Moline. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs Fan. Survivors include his children,Pastors Scott (Tonya) Culley, Silvis; and Joni (Kirk) Severs, Crown Point, IN; grandchildren, Pastors Rachel (C.J.) Hoffman, Josh (April) Severs, Heather Culley, Hannah (Nick) Brown, Megan (Brad) Whitcomb, Daniel Severs, and Andrew Severs; great grandchildren, Melodie, Josiah, Isabelle, and Esther Hoffman, and Finnley and Anika Severs; “special granddaughter”, Emmy Brandau; sister, Barbara Stark, Dubuque, IA; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Culley, Cincinnati, OH.
