Scott Thomas Noyd

Scott Thomas Noyd, 60, of Silvis, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. Burial is in Viola Cemetery, Viola, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.

Scott was born on October 13, 1960 in Aledo, IL, the son of Charles and Virginia Noyd. He graduated from Winola High School, Viola, class of 1978. He was the Secretary/ Treasurer for United Food & Commercial Workers Local 431 and sat on the Rock Island County Board. Scott was married to Rebecca Stock on March 8, 1997. His greatest joy was his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca, children and stepchildren; Autumn (Chris) Posey of Davenport, Brooke (Chad) Carlson of Orion, Travis Fox of Des Moines, Stephanie (Jake) Kilberg of Rock Falls, Melissa Stock-Madden of Bettendorf, and Tiffany Stock of Davenport. Eleven grandchildren; Chase 22, Alex 18, Christian 16, Grayson 14, Jaylen 13, Emerie 10, Madilyn 9, Wyatt 9, Christopher 4, and Easton 1. Siblings; David, Jeff, Mike (Linda), and Judy, and 4 dogs and 2 cats.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Noyd.
